What We Do
We hope you are thrilled with your new purchase from AES, and know that you and your appliance are in good hands! We are dedicated to long-term relationships with our customers, as we consider you a customer for life, along with the life of your appliance.
We provide our customers with professional annual cleanings and maintenance, offered at a reduced rate during the spring and summer months. If you are experiencing a problem with your appliance and need service during the heating months, we will send an experienced technician as soon as possible. (We do not service brands that we do not sell, please see Frequently Asked Questions for more information.)
AES’s service department is dedicated to solving problems, combining decades of experience in the hearth industry. Our team of technicians are experienced troubleshooters, as they diagnose and then make repairs or part replacements. Our trucks are stocked with an array of frequently used parts, and our technicians can often solve the problem by replacing a part in the initial visit. Special order or non-stocked parts may require a return trip.
According to the manufacturer warranty, annual cleanings are necessary, and often reduce the need for service calls. The following checklists outline items of action that are taken for your particular stove/fireplace cleaning, which we encourage being scheduled in the spring and summer months. These spring/summer prices will no longer be mailed via postcard, but they will be displayed on our website. You may also receive them by email if you join our mailing list below.

As described in the Frequently Asked Questions, we also offer extensive chimney services.
A customer who has an existing chimney may be looking to buy a new appliance, and wants to use the chimney to vent it. Before using a chimney, it is important to know the condition of the inside of the chimney using a video scanner, and performing a level 2 chimney inspection as per the NFPA 211 guidelines.
This enables us to determine the integrity of the chimney, and what work may need to be done to make it compliant with the codes set by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) and ready for an installation of a new appliance and/or chimney liner. As with all of our services, we provide estimates and explain all the steps in the process.
We also offer chimney cleaning as an annual service, with the lowest rates available during the spring and summer months. With all cleanings, we clean the stove, insert or fireplace, as well as all the venting and connections.
