HearthStone’s cleanest-burning stove, in cast iron lined with soapstone.

• Maximum Log Size: 21″

• Fuel: Wood.

Who It’s For

You want long, steady soapstone heat and the cleanest burn HearthStone makes. The HearthStone Heritage is made for that. Pick a stove sized wrong and you either chase a cold room or cook yourself out of it.

What Makes It Special

HearthStone calls the Heritage its cleanest-burning stove, thanks to TruHybrid. It is built in full cast iron with a 1¼-inch soapstone lining for comfortable, long-lasting heat.

Load it through the side door (left or right), and use the optional ash pan to keep the hearth tidy.

HearthStone’s TruHybrid system adds a third, catalytic stage to primary and secondary combustion, for a burn clean enough that a roaring fire shows no visible smoke from the chimney and that surpasses the 2020 federal clean-air standards. You can still burn high and hot or low and slow.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You load it, tend it, and carry out the ash.
• The ash pan is optional.

If you want steady, long-lasting wood heat, the HearthStone Heritage is the right decision. On the coldest night, the house is warm and the fire is the reason.

Choose matte black or black, brown, or seafoam enamel, and add the ash pan, rear heat shield, convection blower, outside air adapter, and side door lock kit.
