Who It’s For

You want a fire that fits the room you have, with a modern bed of glass or stone, and you would rather not shop for a separate front. The SlimLine Fusion 5 is the compact Fusion, built for the modern den, office, or bedroom.

What Makes It Special

The bed is your call: crushed glass, glass beads, or stones over a reflective black glass interior that doubles the look of the flame. A log set is part of the package if you want a mix of old and new.

A full-coverage mesh front and black hood come with it, so it is finished the day it goes in. Electronic ignition with battery backup means no pilot burning between fires.

Possible Downsides

• It ships for natural gas. Propane needs a conversion kit.
• The fan and remote are add-ons.
