Who It’s For

Getting up to adjust the stove every hour gets old fast. You want midsize gas heat you can run from your seat. The Forge & Flame Stardance with electronic ignition, crafted with Vermont Castings, is for the main living room where the owner wants classic looks and modern control. A manual stove keeps you on your feet; this one keeps you comfortable.

What Makes It Special

The included touchscreen thermostat remote holds the temperature you set, and the Wi-Fi module adds app control.

Electronic ignition means no pilot flame between fires, and battery backup keeps it working during an outage. A variable-speed blower is built in to spread the heat.

A four-piece split oak log set on a ceramic burner sits behind operable doors, in classic black, majolica brown, bordeaux, or sand.

Possible Downsides

• The Wi-Fi module is a separate purchase.
• A warming shelf must be selected.
• Propane needs a conversion kit.

If you want a midsize gas stove you can run without leaving your seat, the Forge & Flame Stardance is the right decision. A tap on the remote, and the living room is warm before the popcorn is ready.

Choose classic black, majolica brown, bordeaux, or sand with a warming shelf, and add a propane conversion kit, vent paint, or the Wi-Fi module.
